Anyone that liked the twilight movie and/or the soundtrack will enjoy this album immensely. It has a wonderful melodic quality that is great to read to. It helps drive the imagination without ever being overbearing.

I found this band from twilight. Yeah. And the song "Eyes On Fire" does give me goosebumps every time I hear it. But what does it matter? Quit being so pretentious and self-righteous just because "you heard of this band before twilight!!" You and 5 million other people. They're a fantastic band and I'd like to hear more of their music. Does the fact that I heard about them from Twilight make any difference? You probably haven't even seen the movie, so just quit complaining and be happy for them. If you were really a fan, you'd be excited that they're gaining more listeners and money. All that aside, this is a great album, but "Eyes On Fire" is still definitely my favorite.

For trip-hop fans that enjoyed Massive Attack's Mezzanine album, you will enjoy this similarly inspired, yet highly progressive, album that slightly goes beyond the limitations of the genre. The production quality is flawless, the soundscapes are very imaginative with a blend of the organic and digital, and the vocals are haunting and sensual. I highly recommend this album. Be sure to check out the track entitled "Sweep", as it will be a song that sticks with you for a while.

As blown away as I was by this release, I was a bit disappointed with Blue Foundations newest release, Life of a Ghost. Aside from the familiar female vocals and quality production, there is very little that resembles the style of this album. I am very supportive of musicians exploring new musical territory, but unfortunately they seem to have abandoned musical innovation and inspired creativity for alt-pop convention. Their new material is still enjoyable, but much more forgettable, unfortunately. I hope they return to their musical roots and don't get a case of Top-40-it is.

1. "History" - 0:57

This is one of the best trip-hop albums i own. This is trip-hop with "down" beats, really "ambiance", with a superb female voice.Go get it if you like trip-hop in general, it's really accessible.

The sound is like the voice of Emiliana Torrini with tricky as a producer/back up singer on some songs. It is the definition of bristol sound, standard formula trip hop.

A Revelation For Despair is the debut album by Australian hard rock band Behind Crimson Eyes. It was recorded at Sing Sing South, South Yarra and Sing Sing Richmond in Melbourne, Australia. The lead single is "Shakedown". The second single released from the album is "You've Had Your Chance".

"It's about how this world has lost its way. How everywhere you turn there is something disgusting in disguise. Everyone turns a blind eye but in the end we are all embroiled in its filth. It's about how it tempts us to join this "evil" side and how ultimately we unknowingly promote it. Whether it be by buying violent movies or pornography, idolizing 'rock stars' and other image conscious mediums or indulging in lavish unnecessary material items. We all just close our eyes until it becomes trivial 7pm news and topical conversation. Those who have the power to curb our demise are caught up in corruption, greed and compromised values. In the end this will be all we know and all we see. It will be our god."
